PACIFIC MEDIA PARTNERSHIP CONFERENCE 2017 – Islanders are on Screen
15-17 August
Solomon Kitano Mendana Hotel, Honiara, Solomon Islands

PMPC-2017 conference in Solomon Islands will focus on how broadcasters continue to offer broadcast services by augmenting public free-to-air broadcasting.  Some of the key session topics have been identified to lead the discussions and deliberations. Those sessions are to ensure the desired policies and identify rationale in programming, business models for both public and private broadcasters, social responsibilities of media, environmental issues; responsibilities and technical quality of public service media services across evolving distribution platforms such as broadband to ubiquitous devices. Workshops and conference also aims to discuss both technical and non-technical (regulatory, market, business, etc.) strategies to protect Public Service Media-PSM delivery as a free-to-air broadcasting.
